JOB SUMMARY

The Community Outreach Site Coordinator assists the Community Outreach Manager in maintaining program sites, events, community troops, BLING, workshops, and cookie program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  1. Create and maintain program and personal tote supplies assuring facilitators have proper supplies to run programs and events.
  2. Assist with school presentations distribution of flyers and marketing materials for events and programs.
  3. Work with partners to ensure successful outreach programs by confirming program requirements, completing site visits, and ensure end of program evaluations are completed.
  4. Collect weekly paperwork from facilitators; update girl roster reports; and update tracking report.
  5. Facilitate programs as needed.
  6. Assist Community Outreach Manager with recruiting new partnerships.
  7. Assist Community Outreach Manager with planning and implementing day camps, sites, programs, and special events.
  8. Assist Outreach Cookie Sale program by distributing cookie information, implementing cookie plans, participating in cookie rallies and booths, and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  9. Works with cross-functional teams to develop innovative techniques to ensure on going effective delivery of the recruitment and placement strategies.
  10. Ensures Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scout message of pluralism and diversity to members of the council.
  11. Promotes and assists with Council wide programs, activities, public relations and fund development endeavors.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with youth and adults
  • Some technical experience with computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Belief in and supports the mission of the Girl Scouts.
  • Become a registered Girl Scout member.
