Seasonal Recruiter Coordinator

This position is a temporary part-time position working August through November

 JOB SUMMARY

The Recruiter Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the effective execution of the council recruitment plan.  Recruiter Coordinator may attend in-school events, group presentations, parent meetings and other meetings or other community events.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  1. Represents GSEIWI during the execution and implementation of "back to school" girl, adult and volunteer recruitment campaign.
  2. Works collaboratively with Council Recruiter and volunteer recruiters and are actively engaged in recruitment events, promoting events and follow up on recruitment results.
  3. With the Member recruiter assure marketing plan for each school is implemented which may include schedculing events, perform girl talks, printing and delivering fliers, stickers and other materials and follow-up after recruitment events.
  4. Assist with filling and restocking the recruitment totes.
  5. Become proficient in Salesforce for the purpose of tracking all recruitment work.
  6. Works with cross-functional teams to develop innovative techniques to ensure ongoing effective delivery of the Girl Scout program.
  7. Ensures Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scout message of pluralism and diversity to members of the council.
  8. Promotes and assists with Council wide programs, activities, public relations, and fund development endeavors.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience in outside sales or recruiting preferred.
  • Prior Girl Scout knowledge helpful.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends with large amounts of time outside the office travelling to meetings with potential members and community partners.
  • Excellent technical computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and customer relationship management systems or other data tracking systems.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Belief in and supports the mission of the Girl Scouts.
  • Become a registered Girl Scout member.
